Terms of use

[DRAFT – needs solicitor review] These terms explain how Jigzoo works. Jigzoo is operated by [COMPANY NAME LTD], registered in England and Wales, company number [NUMBER], registered office [ADDRESS]. Contact: [EMAIL].

1. What we are

Jigzoo is an online marketplace where members buy and sell second-hand jigsaw puzzles and accessories. We are not the seller of items listed. Each sale is a contract between the buyer and the seller. We act as the seller's commercial agent to arrange the sale and provide the platform, messaging and Buyer Protection services to buyers.

2. Who can use it

You must be 18 or over and live in the UK. Sellers must be based in the UK and ship from the UK. One account per person.

3. Listing and selling

4. Buying

The price shown on each listing is the seller's price. A Buyer Protection fee and postage are added and shown on the listing before you buy. Payments are processed by our regulated payment partner, Stripe. See Buyer Protection.

5. Payments and payouts

We do not hold your money. Payments are handled by Stripe Payments UK Ltd (an FCA-authorised electronic money institution). The seller's share is held in the seller's Stripe account and paid out once the buyer confirms receipt, or automatically [2] days after delivery if no problem is reported.

6. Messages, offers and reviews

Keep all payments inside the app. Asking to pay outside the app is not allowed. Reviews can only be left by the buyer and seller of a completed order, must be honest, and must not be incentivised. We may remove reviews that break this policy.

7. Reporting and moderation

Anyone can report a listing or member. We review reports, and may hide content or suspend accounts that break these terms. You can complain about a moderation decision by contacting [EMAIL].

8. Liability

[To be drafted by solicitor. Must be fair and transparent under the Consumer Rights Act 2015.]

9. Changes and law

[To be drafted.] These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales.
